Education

Education with the Kingdom Mindset

Here are some practical mindsets towards education from a biblical perspective:

  1. Diligence and Hard Work: Proverbs 10:4-5, “Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.”
  2. Wisdom and Discernment: Proverbs 4:5-7, “Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.”
  3. Humility and Teachability: Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
  4. Purpose and Goal-Oriented: Colossians 3:23-24, “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.”
  5. Dependence on God: Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
  6. Integrity and Character: Proverbs 10:9, “The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked ways will be found out.”
  7. Perseverance and Resilience: Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
