David asks God to test and examine his heart. Why do you want that marriage? Why do you want that promotion? Why do you want to see in the spirit? Why do you want to hear in the spirit? Why do you want to do miracles signs and wonders? The mind of an instructed man in the kingdom carries the reasons of divine purpose. The man who is not instructed lusts. And when you lust, I tell you, you will be consumed by the very thing that is supposed to raise you up. Many people die therein because they don’t know the difference between true love and lust. That is why the flesh must die. For we which have believed in Christ have crucified our flesh [Galatians 5:24].
